Goats entering Nevada for show purposes only and returning to origin immediately following conclusion of show, may be exempt from brucellosis and tuberculosis testing requirements. The following statement must be included by the veterinarian on the CVI: "For show and return to origin only. Not for sale, breeding, or dairy purposes in Nevada".

Conduct:

Any exhibitor behaving in an ill-mannered way toward their animals, other exhibitors, the judges, or show committee members will be asked to leave by the show committee and no refunds will be issued. This applies to youth exhibitors as well.

Exhibitors must be respectful of the grounds by parking safely and securely without damage to the facility, picking up all personal items and placing all trash in appropriate trash cans, and removing all personal property at the end of the show. Don’t leave a mess, clean up after yourself, your guests, and your animals.

Very newly fresh does are frowned upon and the NDGC asks exhibitors not to enter does who are less than 30 days fresh. Clots and discharge post kidding pose a biosecurity risk to judges, exhibitors, and other goats present. We reserve the right to deny entries for does who are too newly fresh.

The Nevada Dairy Goat Club asks that you be a good sportsman. Let’s set a good example for our Youth exhibitors. If your Senior doe in milk is selected for Champion and she now has 3 legs towards her Championship either from this show or previous shows you have attended, we ask that you milk her out or scratch her. Likewise, Junior does may only earn 1 leg towards their ADGA Championship, so if your Junior doe is awarded a leg we ask that you scratch her and allow your fellow exhibitors the chance to earn a leg.

Over uddering of does in milk is painful on the does and as such is strongly discouraged. Does who are over uddered to the point of leaking milk may be required to be milked down until leaking stops to prevent biosecurity risks in the ring from leaking milk at the discretion of Judges and NDGC show committee members. Judges will be given discretion to dismiss over uddered does or to request exhibitors to milk down over uddered does to a point of reasonable fill for the show ring.

All decisions made by the NDGC Show Committee are final.

By entering this show you are agreeing to abide by all ADGA and Douglas County Fairgrounds rules and regulations. Any violations will result in immediate dismissal from the show grounds and no refunds will be provided.

Absolutely NO DOGS permitted at the grounds.

All animals must be tattooed before arrival at the show. Microchips are permitted as a secondary identification per ADGA rules; a chip reader will be available.
