THE 2024 KIDDING SCHEDULE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS.

We are not planning on breeding our entire doe herd for 2024 so that I (Amanda) can tackle some health issues. The schedule below is evolving as we decide who to breed, who to give a year off, and who we will offer for sale. We will offer some extremely promising senior does for sale once confirmed bred or after freshening. Please email me if interested in a pregnant doe or doe in milk.

  • Until a doe is confirmed pregnant, I may change the buck at any time if I find another one to be better suited.

  • I reserve the right to retain any kid born from any pair regardless of reservations.

  • I DO NOT reserve based on blue eyes, moonspots, or polled! The "extras" are nice, but not a priority. 

Quaking Canopy Kid Sales Policy

Reservations are $100 and are taken in the order they are received. Please only place a reservation if you are reasonably confident you will purchase your kid if he or she is born. A reservation works like a retainer: it guarantees you a place in line, it does not guarantee you a specific kid will be born. Reservations are transferable before kids are born or if your reserved kid is not born.

If your kid is born, 50% of the total cost of your kid is due upon notification from me that your reservation has been fulfilled. The remainder 50% is due when your kid leaves my farm.

Any and all refunds are at my discretion based on the circumstances surrounding the refund request. I will always try my best to be flexible and fair. Replacements are always at my discretion and will be based on the circumstances surrounding the request. Example: a congenital heart defect would warrant a replacement. Failure to properly care for a goat kid would not warrant a replacement.

I reserve the right to charge boarding fees, in advance, if a kid or kids are being left in my care for an extended period of time. Please make transport plans and get your kiddos home within a reasonable time frame.

Every single kid born here is raised on a bottle. Every single kid born here horned is disbudded.

I absolutely will fly kids, however kids need to grow to an age and size appropriate for air travel, so this time frame should be a part of your plans. Expect your kid to stay with me until at least 6 weeks of age.

You are responsible for your transport arrangements. I will handle all needed testing and veterinary inspection.

For kids who are being flown - You may have a crate shipped to me or I absolutely will go grab one for you at your expense as well, if you find shipping one to me is not an option.

Kids needing microchips will be chipped with 804 chips under my premise ID and Scrapie ID. This chip will qualify as an alternative to an unreadable tattoo in an ADGA setting.
