When the opportunity arose to bring Rainy home I could not pass it up. I have always admired this doe for her production and her persistence. The impact her dam has had on the Nigerian Dwarf breed with her sons and daughters and through owner Sarah Hawkin’s devotion and hard work has been incredibly significant. I’m excited and grateful to have Rainy here from Dog Island Farm and really hope I get a few daughters to retain in my herd.

Sadly, despite a few years of trying many things, we haven’t had any luck getting Rainy to settle again. She’s here for brass tax, because we just love her.
